How Common Is Transgender Treatment Regret, De-transitioning

Despite lawmakers frequently citing concerns regarding young individuals regretting gender-affirming medical treatment, studies suggest regret of transitioning is actually uncommon. In fact, in a review of 27 studies involving nearly 8,000 teens and adults who underwent transgender-related surgeries, only 1% on average expressed regret. ABC News. Mar. 3, 2023.
