The Redding Pride Awards honors and celebrates the contributions of individuals, organizations and businesses that advance the health and well being of the LGBTQIA+ community in rural Far Northern California.

Join us for an evening of drag, dancing and all other sorts of fabulousness at Redding's iconic Sundial Bridge all lit up in rainbow.

Drag Kings & Queens read LGBTQ+ themed children's books that explore gender fluidity, diverse families and positive self-image to empower young people to embrace who they are and grow up living authentically.

Safe Zone Ally Training


Wednesday, September 18th

8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Redding Library

1100 Parkview Ave.

Join us for this 8-hour experiential training that explores LGBTQ+ issues, myths and stereotypes, identity development, the authentic gender model, spectrums of sexuality & gender, 'coming out', microaggressions,  intersectionality 

and privilege.

 Those who complete the training receive a sticker that symbolizing they are a safe space to come to for support and referral to resources.

About the film: Love, faith and civil rights collide in a southern town as evangelical Christians and drag queens step into the spotlight to dismantle stereotypes.

The film takes a personal, and often comical look at negotiating differences between religion and belief through performance, political action, and partnership. Gospel drag shows and passion plays set the stage for one hell of a show.

Join us for the Grand Finale of Redding Pride Week at the 10th Annual Redding Pride Festival & March.

Our LGBTQ+ community's roots are deep in far rural NorCal. Together, we have weathered each storm of resistance, intolerance and hate only to come out stronger and more vibrant.

The festival is a living model of community growth and support, an affirmation of our individual identities and an inspiration for people of all ages.

Admission is FREE with
